Wheelchair Table Tennis.
Table Tennis Federation of India is hoisting Para Table Tennis promotion game from 26 Mar to 29 Mar 2019 at Indore (MP). Following 3 x Athletes (Residents) and 2 x care givers from PRC Mohali will proceed to Participate in the above event and Ex LNk Brijesh Yadav won 1 x Bronze medal.
3rd Para BOCCIA National Championship -2019.
3rd Para BOCCIA National Championship -2019 was held at Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar from 15 Mar to 16 Mar 2019 to inspire disabled persons about Paralympic Sports. 5 x Athletes and 2 x Care Givers participated in the above event and Ex LNK Brijesh Yadav won 1 x Gold and Ex Sep Surinder Kumar 1 x Silver medal in the above tournament.
2nd OPEN PUNJAB STATE PARA ATHLETIC GAMES - 2019.
2nd Open Punjab State Para Athletic Games – 2019 was held on 25 Feb 2019 in village Uppal Bhupa near Phillaur (Jalandhar). 12 x Athletes from PRC Mohali Participated in the above Championship and won 29 medals (11 Gold, 8 Silver and 10 Bronze).
3rd PUNJAB PARA ATHLETIC AND PARA BOCCIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP – 2019.
3rd Punjab Para Athletic and Para Boccia State Championship – 2019 was held from 19 to 20 Feb 2019 at Bhatinda. 11 x Athletes from PRC participated in the above championship and won 25 Medals (9 Gold, 9 Silver and 7 Bronze). Lawn Tennis.
Wheelchair Lawn Tennis Workshop was org by Chandigarh Rehab Centre on 02 and 03 Feb 2019. 7 x PRC, Mohali residents attended the workshop and were initiated in the Wheelchair Lawn Tennis Sports. A qualified coach came from Chennai who educated the residents during the wrk sport.
HANNA LAHOUD INTERNATIONAL WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL CUP HELD AT BERUIT (LEBANON) FROM 29 NOV 02 DEC 2018.
The Wheelchair Basketball Team of PRC Mohali participated in the National Wheelchair Basketball tournament held at Chennai from 19 Nov 2018 to 24 Nov 2018 representing the Punjab State. Two team players of PRC Team namely Rfn Mohd Latief Bhat and Gnr Ajit Kumar Shukla were selected to represent India as the part of playing members of the Indian contingent and participated in the World Wheelchair Basketball Tournament held at Beirut, Lebanon from 27 Nov to 02 Dec 2018. The Indian Team won the Bronze Medal in the tournament and brought laurels to HQ Western Comd , PRC Mohali, Punjab State and our Nation.
18TH NATIONAL PARA ATHLETIC CHAMPIONSHIP HELD AT PANCHKULA (HARYANA) FROM 25 TO 29 MAR 2018.
18th National Para Athletics Championship was held from 25 Mar to 29 Mar 2018 at Panchkula Haryana. Athletic Teams from 26 States incl Punjab participated in the Championship. Our team comprising eight athletes as part of Punjab State took part in the Championship. PRC Mohali athletes won five medals (1 x Gold, 2 x Silver and 2 x Bronze Medals).
Asian Para Games Qualifying Tournament (QT) Selection Camp – Wheelchair Basketball
Selection Camp for wheelchair basketball players was conducted at Chennai from 20 Jan to 26 Jan 2018. 23 x Players from eight States attended the Camp and among them 12 best players were selected by the Selection Committee to represent India at the Asian Para Games Qualifying Tournament (QT) scheduled to be held from 02 Mar to 12 Mar 2018 at Bangkok. The fwg two players had been selected from PRC Mohali :-

Ex Gnr Ajit Kumar Shukla.
National Camp for the trg of the selected players was org at SAI Trg Centre Aurangabad, Maharashtra from 17 Feb to 01 Mar 2018. The players thereafter, left for Bangkok from Mumbai to take part in the Asian Para Games QT held from 02 Mar to 12 Mar 2018.
Wheelchair Basketball Coaching Camp.
Wheelchair Basketball Federation of India (WBFI) in partnership with PRC, Mohali conducted three days ‘Advanced Coaching Clinic’ in Wheelchair Basketball from 10 Dec to 12 Dec 2017 at PRC Mohali.
Participation.
26 best players selected at National level from 10 States and 5 x Coaches attended the advanced coaching clinic. However, five more players attended the clinic from PRC Mohali besides three selected at the National level.
Inter-National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament Held at Kathmandu (Nepal) - 15 Nov to 18 Nov 2017.
5 x players (Residents), from PRC Mohali as part of Uttar Pradesh Wheelchair Basketball Association took part in the above tournament. Three countries ie India, Nepal and Bangladesh took part. Our combined team stood second in the above Championship and bagged Silver Medal.
4th Natinoal Wheelchair Championship– Hyderabad (05 – 09 Nov 2017).
9 x players (Residents), 1 x Coach and 1 x Care giver from PRC Mohali have been dispatched to Hyderabad on 04 Nov 2017 to take part in the 4th National Wheelchair Basketball Championship being held from 05 Nov to 9 Nov 2017 at Hyderabad.
Camp for Selection of Indian Men’s Team for International Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at Bali, Indonesia from – 27 Jul to 31 Jul 2017.
2 x Wheelchair Basketball Players (Ex Rfn Mohd Latief Bhat and Ex Gnr Ajit Kumar Shukla) of PRC Mohali as part of National Wheelchair Basketball Team were selected to participate in 4th Bali Cup International Tournament.
17th National Para Athletics Championship – Mar 2017.
17th National Para Athletic Championship was held at Jaipur, Rajasthan from 31 Mar to 04 Apr 2017. Our team comprising of 8 x athletes (Residents) and 3 x Attendants took part in the said championship and bagged 6 Medals (3 Gold, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze).
3rd National Wheelchair Basketball Championship – Dec 2016.
3rd National Wheelchair Basketball Championship held at Chennai, Tamilnadu from 26 Dec to 30 Dec 2016. Our team comprising of 10 x Players and 3 x Attendants took part in the said championship and bagged Runner Up Trophy (10 teams participated).
16th National Para Athletics Championship – 2016.
16th National Para Athletic Championship was held at Panchkula from 26 Mar to 30 Mar 2016 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Sector 3, Panchkula, Haryana. Our team comprising of 6 x athletes (Residents) and 3 x Attendants took part in the said championship and bagged 7 Medals (3 Gold, 3 Silver and 1 Bronze).
